Green Eyes – I hope you can see in the photos the delicate little pink roses lamp-worked onto each of these green beads. The transparent Indian Glass beads are swirled with a bit of translucent green, and 22 carat gold dust! I wish that my photography skills were good enough to capture that gold dust for you, but you’ll easily see it when you open the box containing this delightful necklace.
Lamp-work beads are handmade and are formed by heating glass with a blowtorch and then working it into the artist’s desired bead shapes. Pink and white roses are added to these green beads by touching the base bead with pink and white melted glass and twisting it slightly to form a rose.
The colors and styles of lamp-work beads can vary widely, according to the artist making them, but the signature look of a lamp-work bead is usually glossy and ornate.
Green Eyes is a 16 ½” necklace, with matching earrings, handmade by Gail with 22 carat gold swirl green lamp-worked Indian glass beads, silver foil-lined glass beads, and gold foil-lined glass beads.
